About
Dr. Alexander B. Craig is a native of northwest Ohio. He received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Science from Bowling Green State University and medical degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. In medical school, he was awarded membership to the Pi Delta National Honor Society. Dr. Craig completed a podiatric medicine and surgery residency with added credential in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, California. During residency, he served as the chief podiatry resident. He has presented at regional podiatry conferences and has published research in peer
reviewed journals.
Dr. Craig takes an evidence based approach to management of patients and is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He specializes in the treatment of lower extremity pathology including skin and nail problems, bunion and hammertoe deformities, trauma, sports medicine, wound care, and limb salvage. Dr. Craig is currently on staff at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, Southwest General Medical Center, and Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, and following Cleveland sports.
